East Wiltshire Liberal Democrats
Swindon Borough Council Elections - Thursday 7th May 2026
The new constituency of East Wiltshire (EW) was created in 2024.
Although most of the constituency is within Wiltshire Council, the two most northern wards are part of Swindon Borough Council. These two wards are:
- Chiseldon and Ridgeway(C&R) and
- Wroughton and Wichelstowe(W&W)
On Thursday, 7 May 2026, there was a council election for all 57 council positions across the 25 wards. The two EW wards contested 5 council positions 2 in Chiseldon and Ridgeway and 3 in Wroughton and Wichelstowe.
We would like to congratulate Martin Barrett on being elected Liberal Democrat councillor for Wroughton and Wichelstowe.
