Caroline Sadler
Marlborough Town Councillor
Caroline was born in Sutton in Surrey, and lived in South West London. Caroline and her husband moved to Marlborough when his job was relocated to Swindon 30 years ago.
Caroline became a volunteer Special Constable in Marlborough. After having children Caroline also volunteered as a parent helper for the 2nd Marlborough Scouts and became a Secretary of the Executive Committee.
Caroline has worked for nearly 25 years in the Criminal Justice sector starting as a receptionistfor Swindon Youth Offending Team before moving into other support roles. After 7 years, Caroline then had the opportunity to join Swindon Probation Service firstly as an Administrator supporting Probation Officers and the Probation Court team, then an Administration Manager.
Caroline has two children, who both attended local schools in Marlborough. Her son is a Senior Software Engineer and lives in Cambridge and her daughter is currently studying Mathematics at Bristol University.
Caroline has a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the Open University graduating in 2022.
Newly retired Caroline has recently been elected to Marlborough Town Council, and enjoys archery, reading and singing in the Marlborough Community Choir.
